Our 1st stop for pictures will be in the oyster pond area for 5 minutes and then over to one of the islands most popular beaches which is Orient Bay… we make a stop here for about 1 hour to enjoy the sea, sun and sand.
From Orient we continue over to the French Capitol Marigot for 40 min where you can indulge in local fair, open air shopping, French pastries, higher end shopping in the West Indies Mall and if you are adventurous enough you can climb about 100 stairs to see the old Fort Louis.
From the French Capital we head over to the most popular area on the Dutch side, which is Airport beach Maho area for 1-hour stop to watch the planes land and take off!
You may have seen the videos on YouTube and now you can experience it live for yourself.
Making our way from airport beach we go through the Simpson bay area. If you are able to stay over this area is vibrant with nightlife. With so many restaurants to chose from and great local bands you will have fun.
We get one last picture opportunity on the Cole bay hill so you can see the island layout of the simpson bay marina, airport area and the neighboring islands Anguilla, Statia and Saba.
Once we arrive in Philipsburg area you may choose to remain in Philipsburg to shop or sightsee at your leisure. If you decide to walk back to the ship takes between 12 and 15 minutes, or a taxi may take you for approximately $3. For those who would like to return to the ship they can remain in the vehicle.
